Chief Executive Officer

Jason is the Chief Executive Officer and a Director of enGene. Driven by the desire to bring transformative therapies to patients, Jason has a long and distinguished career in healthcare. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Ohana Biosciences and as member of the Ohana Board of Directors and consultant to Ohana. Prior to Ohana, Jason served as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer for NuVasive, Inc. Earlier in his career, Jason served as Corporate Vice President of General Electric (GE) Company and member of the senior executive team of GE Healthcare; he has served in numerous roles at GE Healthcare, including General Counsel roles. Previously, he served as Company Group Chairman and Executive Vice President of Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. (now Bausch Health Companies Inc.) and in various roles at Medicis Pharmaceutical Corporation, including as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Jason holds a B.S. from Cornell University and a J.D. from Duke University School of Law.
