Chief Regulatory Officer

Matt is Chief Regulatory Officer. He joined enGene in September 2024 as SVP, Regulatory Affairs. Prior to enGene, Matt was Vice President, Head of Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance at Zambon USA. In this role he was the Regulatory lead for global developmental projects in Phase 3. He was also the Quality Assurance lead for Zambon USA where he established programs for manufacturing sites to be prepared for Health Authority inspections and was a member of the Zambon US Leadership Team.

Prior to Zambon, Matt was a VP, Regulatory Affairs at Albireo Pharma where he was the global regulatory lead for the Company’s first commercial product in the US and Europe. From 2014-2020, Matt held senior positions in Regulatory and Medical Affairs at Sobi. Prior to Sobi, Matt held senior positions in Commercial and Regulatory at EMD Serono from 2009-2014.

Matt holds a BS from the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.
